Words cannot express how much we are going to miss Bill. I personally have been a fire police since 1983, and I always considered Bill and I "the kids". While most of our peers were 65+, we were happy to be in a group devoted to fire police while we were in our 30's and 40's. Bill always had a smile, was always happy, and was so willing to take on jobs that others just did not want to be bothered with. Bill had a calming effect when arguments happened--he always had a workable solution. He wore so many hats--with Spencerport, with Monroe County, and with the State of New York. We want Val and his sons to know that Bill's brother and sister firefighters are here to be of service--if you need something done--something fixed, transportation, or just a shoulder to cry on--we are here. We know God has a place for Bill in Heaven's Fire Brigade--among so many we can be so proud of. The Monroe County Volunteer Fire Police Association is dedicating this year's six county seminar to Bill.
