Obituary of John G. Hubbard

Sadly, on April 9, 2019 at age 72. Survived by loving wife Kathy of 50 years; daughters, Debbie (Brian) Olmsted, Betsy (Tom) Foos; grandchildren, Tim and John Olmsted, Thomas and Audrey Foos; sister in law, Mary (Terry) Gurnett; brother in law, Bill Munn; many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Norman & Dorothy; sister, Virginia VanAtta; brother, Robert Hubbard.

John served his community as Mayor of Spencerport, Town of Ogden Councilman and Secretary of the Spencerport Fire District. He retired from Kodak as a tool designer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home 15 West Ave. Spencerport.  John’s Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Christ “White Church” 65 Church St. Spencerport. Interment private. Memorial donations may be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Ste. 500, Chicago, IL 60611 or Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 East River Rd, Box 278996 Rochester, NY 14627 in John’s memory.
