Obituary of Amerigo Dee DiLauro
Amerigo DiLauro (Dee)
On November 1, 2019 in Florida at age 101. Predeceased by wife, Ramona F. DiLauro; daughter, Lorraine Clark; son, Martin N. DiLauro; 3 brothers; 2 sisters. Dee is survived by his daughters, Lola M. DiLauro, Virginia Gebhard; brother, Septimius DiLauro; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; dear friends, Mr. & Mrs. Luis Deguzan, Mark Tiberio, Ginger Rushing, Ed Reid.
Dee was a US Army veteran and retired Meteorologist from the US Weather Service. Dee had a rich life with many interests & hobbies after his retirement. Some of these include, that he was an owner/trainer/driver of Harness Horses, and a Basketball and Soccer Referee. In his later years, as always, he was an avid sports fan as well as an avid reader and also enjoyed the game of golf. He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need and had friends of all ages.
Dee’s visitation will be held Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport, with his Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Johns Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to VA Medical Center of West Palm, Attention Hospice Unit #8083, 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm, FL 33410-6400 in Dee's memory.
