Ruth M. (Kofsky) Lavell

 SPENCERPORT - Ruth went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2019 at age 92. Pre­deceased by her hus­band, Michael E. Lavell; brothers, Warren, Robert, Glen Kofsky, John Butler; sisters, Anne Stoecklein, Marilyn Beaman. She is survived by her children, Brian (Janet) Lavell, Car­ol (Michael) Burke, Susan (Peter) Decker, Andrew (Jodi) Lavell; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Congelli, Peter (Teri) Burke, Christopher (Erin) Burke, Michelle (Cameron) Bowers, Andrew Deck­er, Patrick (Jessica) Decker, Emily (Daniel) Cooper; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Carly, Samantha, Vincent, Warren, Carolynn, Wyatt; sister, Jean Grimm; sister-in-law, Joan Lavell; many nieces and nephews. Ruth’s visitation will be Friday, December 27th, 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church of Spencerport, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery.Donations may be made to the Ogden Senior Center, 200 S. Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 or St. John the Evangelist Church - Lazarus Com­mittee in Ruth’s memory.
