Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020 at the age of 89 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Nowack; sister, Janice Haag; brother in law, Warren “Red” Haag; sister in law, Joanne Nowack; son in law, Richard Barton. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, A. Patricia Nowack; daughters, Liz Schuth. Ellen Barton, Amy Nowack; his grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Legere, Kristen (Mike) Somers, Ben (Ashley) Barton, Hannah (Richard) Bradshaw; great grandchildren, Addison and Owen Legere, Nicole, Haley and Caroline Somers, Connor and Patrick Barton, Hailey and Declan Bradshaw; brother, Richard Nowack; sister in law, Mary Nowack and many nieces and nephews. Arthur is a graduate of Aquinas Institute where he is a two-time Hall of Famer, and the University of Notre Dame. He was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for many years. He enjoyed football, fishing with family and friends, at his cottage on Tar Island, also watching his grandkids’ sporting events and spending time with his family.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity of BVM Church, 152 Main St. Brockport on August 13, 2020 at 10:00 am. Interment at Fairfield Cemetery.
