Esther was one of a kind. I will never forget the dirt path that led from my back to hers next door. It was well traveled. She and Don were the first ones there when we brought each of our babies home from the hospital. She was there when I needed help with any household questions. They were there to share desserts and dinners and garden veggies with. She was amazing and she will be missed. I will miss our long talks. A piece of my heart will always be with my much wiser, much older, more beautiful friend. Thinking of you all.

Esther was a remarkable lady and her absence will be sorely missed. A member of the Greatest Generation and she lived up to that reputation. I always admired her strength, faith and unwavering determination. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
