Joan H. (Englert) Nichols

Joan passed away comfortably in her sleep at age 93 on Good Friday, April 10, 2020 at home with loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband Sidney F. Nichols; her parents, Arthur J. Englert and Magdalene K. Englert (Klein); sister, Betty (Charles) Yockel. Survived by her children, James A. (Bonnie) Nichols, SC, Kenneth L. (Eunice) Nichols, GA, Jean E. (Dennis) Kipphut, PA; sister, Miriam (Daniel) Kennelly; sisters in law, Norma Ioannone, Eleanor Nichols, Joy (Ray) Hall, Elsie Nichols; grandchildren, Gina (Richard) Blake, Kim (John) Severson, Todd (Tanya) Nichols, David (Brigette) Kipphut, Christina (Steven) Behlke; great grandchildren, Lauren & Colin Severson, Dawson, Braeden & Soren Kipphut,

Jacob & Christian Nichols; special friends, Norma & Dell Jones and many nieces & nephews. After many years, Joan retired from Marine Midland Bank as an assistant manager, serving in both Spencerport and Hilton.

A service will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Joan’s memory.
