Sara “Sally” (Stephens) Lydick

Spencerport

 

Sara was born February 15, 1927, Indiana County, Pa.  Passed away October 10, 2020.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Homer “Dwight”. Survived by her two children, Barry (Deb) and Pat; grandchildren, Paula (Adam) Giardino, Beth Donnelly, Nieci Lydick, Allan Donnelly; great granddaughters, Allanah, Taylor.

 

Graduated from Indiana High School in 1945, worked as a telephone operator for AT&T, also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution which got Sara involved giving back by wrapping bandages for the Military in WWII.

A member of the Women’s Guild of the White Church and worked in the soup kitchen.  She was 2nd medic for the Spencerport Ambulance and worked for Doc McKinney, Vet for 26 years.

 

Service and interment were held privately.

 

Contributions may be made to the building and grounds group of the First Congregational Church of Spencerport (White Church), 65 Church Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 in Sara’s memory.
