Obituary of Fritz K. Laistner

Greece, NY – Passed December 5, 2020 at age 83. Predeceased by his parents, Fritz and Hilde.  Survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Elisabeth, daughter, Barbara Nardozza, sons, Mark (Nancy) and David (Kimberly),

sister, Christel Burnside; grandchildren, Marilyn, Andrea, Roger, Amanda, Kathryn, Zackary, Katelyn and Max.

Fritz was born in Karlsruhe, Germany and moved to Hamilton, Ontario in the 1950’s and later to Buffalo, NY. He spent his last two years in Rochester, NY at Legacy Parklands and the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked in the auto industry as an electrician for 36 years. Fritz was an avid Buffalo Bills fan who enjoyed spending time with his family, working on his computer, trading stocks and meticulously maintaining his yard and automobiles.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Spencerport, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fritz’s honor to St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St. Spencerport, NY 14559.
