Elizabeth (Trenchard) Laws

 SPENCERPORT - Fri­day, February 5, 2021 at age 94; Elizabeth is sur­vived by her caring and loving husband of 72 years, Joseph B. Laws; daughters, Gwendolyn (Paul) Mancuso, Can­dace Laws-York and Kar­en (David) Mandarano; granddaughters, Emily Mancuso, Alicia (Mike) Fout, Fiana (Adam) Kumm, Cristabel York, Alex­andra Mandarano and Juliana Mandarano; broth­er, Byron (Anne) Trenchard and many special relatives, neighbors and friends.

Elizabeth, better known as Betty, was a 1948 graduate of Keuka College. She found her true pas­sion in teaching as she loved children. Betty later worked as an Interpreter at the Genesee Country Museum, a job she also loved. She was thoughtful, creative, fun, determined and energetic. She could always find a solution to a problem. She also loved to read, travel and learn new things and was a talented cook and quilter.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the caring staff at Gates Volunteer Ambulance, Unity Hospital, McCormick TCC and Hildebrandt Hospice for their care of her.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date when we can all be together again. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spencerport United Methodist Church or the Gates Volunteer Ambulance in Betty’s memory.
