Obituary of Joseph E. Marhatta

N. Chili: November 28, 2021 at age 78. Predeceased by his daughter, Denise; parents, Earl & Josephine; sister, Norma Weekes. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Marhatta; children, Joseph R. Marhatta, Lynn (Mark) Huber, Michael Marhatta; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

 Joe was a Monroe County Sheriff Detective SGT Retired. He was a District Attorney SGT Investigator Retired and he was a Monroe County Investigator with the District Attorney's Office for 10 years. He was Past Commander with the Monroe County American Legion and Past Commander with the Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post 330.

Joe's life story will be shared during his visitation on Sunday, December 5 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport.

His funeral mass will be on Monday December 6 at 10 am at St. Pius the Tenth Church (Chili Ave.). Interment in Pittsford Cemetery.
