Pauline’s strong spirit and presence owned every room and campground she stepped foot in.  She created a family that was as tight as can be due to traveling, games, sports, music, and togetherness. If you were to hear someone on the sidelines cheering over all the spectators, you knew it was Pauline. She found joy in a variety of activities, which included camping, bingo, shuffleboard, cruises/travel, knitting, sewing, crafts, baking, bowling, horseshoes, ice skating, and playing cards/games. Her grandchildren could always count on her to have cookies on the counter and ice cream in the freezer.  She grew up in Vermont and moved to New York after marrying in 1957.  Living away from family, she created another family bond with her neighbors in Spencerport.  She worked at the United States Post Office for 20 years.  She loved her family very much and had a kind heart. If you had the pleasure of meeting Pauline, you would realize she truly was a selfless woman who never ceased to help those around her.  She put up a long stubborn fight during her tough battle with health issues.  We know that she will continue her strong presence in all our lives cheering on the sidelines of heaven.

We would like to thank the aides and nurses at Monroe Community Hospital for the above and beyond care that you gave our mother the last few years.  She will be missed by many.

Pauline’s visitation will be held on Friday, April 29th from 5-8pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, April 30th at 1:00pm at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 North Main Street, Churchville.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to either a Hospice in your area or Churchville Fire Department, 24 Washington St. Churchville, NY 14428 in Pauline’s memory.
