Obituary of Mary E. Penders

Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend Mary Elizabeth “Honey” Penders (Glaser), 96, of Spencerport, NY, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband Mark. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta A. Penders and Patricia and her husband David Ealy, grandchildren Shannon Ealy, Christine and her husband Nicholas Pucillo, and Justin Ealy, her sister Lorraine Donadoni, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Maggie.

Born in Rochester on June 7, 1925, Mary attended Our Lady of Mercy high school and worked at Eastman Kodak Company until leaving to begin a family. An enthusiastic and prolific cook, her recipes will be passed down and enjoyed for many generations to come, and her family will remember her for her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. 

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 24th 11:00am at the Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude’s), 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester, NY. Burial at Holy Sepulchre immediately following.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Hamilton Manor Nursing Home for taking care of Mary for the last three years.
