Obituary of James R. McGowan

Peacefully on February 27, 2022, at the age of 84. Survived by his wife Carol; children, Douglas (Julie), Thomas (Susan); grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Talitha, Evan, Saoirise, Benjamin, Hadassah, Rory; brother, Judson (Michelle) McGowan.  

James was a long-time resident of Spencerport. He designed, built, and operated Buttonwood Golf Course and McGowan Landscaping. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4^th from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport.

Memorial Service is on Saturday, March 5^th at 11:00 am, City Hope Wesleyan Church, 2070 Long Pond Rd., Rochester.
