Patricia A. Park (Ward)

Age 82, who was born in Irondequoit, NY, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by the "love of her life", Bill Harter; her parents, Barry and Hazel Ward and her sister, Jean Weeks. She leaves behind her 2 sisters, Peggy (Mauro) Felipe, Sandy (John) Lederman, 2 daughters, Heather (John) Simons, Piper (Don) Wood, 4 grandchildren, Kelly Simons, Jennifer Simons, Bill (Ashley) Simons and Andrew (Chelsea) Wood; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many friends both in New York and Florida. Pat loved life and lived every day to the fullest.

Pat was an avid reader, loved movies, and all kinds of music from classical to rock and roll. She was a trivia wiz, enjoyed crossword puzzles, greeting card making and anything creative.

She spent her younger adult years raising her 2 daughters, than began exploring her creative side. She worked for Wegmans for many years in the hot foods and deli departments and created recipes for their prepared salads. She also owned a ceramics studio and taught classes in her home. At the age of 51 she attended Isabella Graham-Hart School of Practical Nursing and became an LPN. The rest of her working life was spent taking care of others. After retiring, Pat and Bill traveled extensively across the United States. They also became snowbirds and enjoyed almost 20 years in Florida. Her life-long passion was cooking. She was happiest when she was around the table with a cocktail, a delicious meal, and her family.
