Grandpa Moore was a kind and patient gentleman who was also an amazing storyteller. I have the fondest memories of playing cards with him growing up. I saw him for the last time a couple weeks ago on FaceTime and he still had the most genuine, amazing smile. A class act who will be greatly missed. We love you Grandpa Moore.

My grandpa and grandma were both wonderful grandparents and were some of my closest family. I have so many great memories when I would visit them in Treasure Island and New York. We spoke often on the phone, and more so after my grandma passed. I was worried about my grandpa after my grandma passed, but was so happy when he moved into his apartment. He made so many friends and seemed to really enjoy being there. His social life was almost always busier than mine!!
His community friends attended a celebration in his honor before he passed, and although grandpa could not be there, it shows what a great person he was to all who knew him.
I will really miss my grandpa’s stories and hearing his voice every week. I saved his last 3 voicemails just so I can hear him.
They lived a long and healthy life. Although they suffered the worst loss of losing their child and grandchild, they never gave up on each other and persevered through hard things that would break a lot of people. I will miss them dearly, but am happy they are both together again and are no longer in pain. I am so proud to be their granddaughter and I hope they both knew how much they impacted my life and how much I loved them.
I love you grandpa and grandma and I know I will see you both again one day ❤️

My heart is broken. Fred was an incredible man and I will greatly miss him. I enjoyed getting to know him the last three years and hearing his stories. He loved and adored Ruth and his children. From tech talk, sprucing up his scooter, balloon volleyball or singing Sweet Caroline, programs will never be the same. I will always save a balloon for Fred. RIP, Fred. You will be GREATLY missed by your Village family.
