Obituary of Mike Mullins

Gates- Passed away on July 6, 2023. Mike is predeceased by his parents, Earl & Berneice Mullins; grandson, Brandon Michalko; sister-in-law, Melody Tennity; brother-in-law, Leland Knab, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lynne (Knab) Mullins; children, Julie (Ron) Michalko, John Jr. (Annette) Mullins. Wendy (Craig) Rusin; grandchildren, Jason (Melanie) Mullins, Nicholas Rusin, John (Andrea) Fuller, Kirstie (Daniel) Harvey, Garrett (Valerie) Rusin. Mike was a lifetime resident of Gates New York. His father built a little house on Elmgrove Road, where Mike grew up, and in turn raised his own family in the same house.  He was a graduate of Spencerport High School and was a self-taught carpenter for part of his career. He finished his career, retiring as a buyer for SUNY Brockport. Mike and his wife Lynne celebrated 62 ½ years of marriage that resulted in 3 wonderful children who adored their father. He was also the best grandfather and great-grandfather EVER! He loved his little people!

Mike's life story will be shared during his visitation, Tuesday, July 11th, 3-7 PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport, NY. The family will receive friends prior to his service, Wednesday, July 12th, 10 AM at the funeral home, his funeral service will then begin at 11AM. His interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
