Robert W. “Bob” Epping

Passed away surrounded by his family on January 7, 2024 at age 89. Bob is predeceased by his wife of 68 years, JoAnne M. Epping; parents, Robert & Mary Epping. He is survived by children, Michael (Elena) Epping, Steven (Jeanne) Epping, Mark (Laura) Epping; grandchildren, Gina Marie (Aaron) Williams, Vincent (Alyssa) Epping, Nicolas Epping, Ashley Epping, Haley Epping, Mason Epping, Joseph Epping, Alyssa Epping, Maya Epping; great-grandchildren, Michelle Engel, Colin Williams, Vincent Epping & Daniela Williams.

Bob was a loving son, husband, father & grandfather. Family was his everything and he was a veteran who served 4 years in the US Army. He was a terrific role model for all, which included a 40 year distinguished banking career. Bob was also a lifelong musician and an avid reader. 

His visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th from 4-7 PM at Walker Brothers Funeral Home (15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY). His funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 11th at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in Spencerport. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s memory may be directed to the Aurora House (2495 South Union St. Spencerport, NY 14559) or the Ogden Farmer’s Library, Attn: John Cohen (269 Ogden Center Rd. Spencerport, NY 14559).
