Obituary of Gordon DeVelder

DeVelder, Gordon Robert "Gordy" Churchville: June 9, 2015 at age 69. Predeceased by his charitable wife, Diana DeVelder. Gordon was a loving father, husband, brother and friend to many. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Survived by his children, Thomas (Blanca) DeVelder, Lisa Colburn-Roi, Scott DeVelder, Mark DeVelder, Aimee (Joshua) Portlock, Steven DeVelder; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; mother, Grace DeVelder; many brothers and sisters & brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. Visitation is Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 21 South Main Street, Churchville. Gordon's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 North Main St., Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association of NY State, 155 Washington Ave., Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 in Gordon's memory.
