Obituary of William Woityra

Woityra, William M On July 1,2015 .Survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia; sons Shane and William (Katie). Also, sister Mae Bartman, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Wit was a graduate of Cornell University and was a Vietnam-era veteran serving with a Light Helicopter Battalion. A life-long Rochester resident, he retired from Burroughs / Unisys Corp following 36 years of service. His loves included horses, family, dogs, hunting and fishing on the farm; but not always in that order. He did it all until his fight with cancer began. Thanks to all the unwavering friends, some multi-generational, who called, visited, and provided support. At Bill's request, no service or viewing will be held. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Riga Newman Library, Churchville Lions Club, and Churchville Volunteer Fire Department that were so generous and caring.
