Obituary of James Toogood

March 5, 2016. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 71. James is survived by his brother, Jerry; sister-in-law, Patricia; nephews, Rusty and Paul (Val) Jenson; great niece, Sara Jenson; cousins, Richard Dickinson, Sandy Covertino; his lifelong friend, Rockwood Chambers and his family. James was a graduate of Churchville-Chili High School- Class of 1964. James worked for Monroe County for over 30 years as an operating engineer at the Public Safety Building. James loved to travel and visited 5 out of the 7 continents. In his later years, he was an active member of the Freemasons, Unity Lodge 479, Past Master, presented with Distinguished Service Award. Also a member of the Grotto, Scottish Rite, and Shriners. James's visitation will be 4-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 21 South Main Street, Churchville. James funeral service will be on Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
