Obituary of Amanda Lindenmuth

Lindenmuth, Amanda N. Ogden: March 10, 2016. Amanda is survived by husband, John Calkins; daughter Zoey Calkins; parents Jay & Charlene Lindenmuth; siblings, Aaron Lindenmuth, Ashley (John) Waldecker & Heidi (Joey) Gullo; father-in-law 7 mother-in-law Mark & Diane Calkins; sisters-in-law Julia Calkins, Danielle (Jake Harvey) Calkins; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Amanda was one of four children in her family and grew up in North Chili - Odgen communities. As a child she loved playing with her Barbie dolls, swimming, and playing outside. She was very active and full of life. She attended Fairbanks Elementary School, Churchville-Chili Middle and High school. During High school she studied Cosmetology in WEMOCO. After graduating, she became a second shift trainer at Coopervision in their shipping department. She worked there for eight years. She met her fiancee online. She had many hobbies including: scrap-booking, making bracelets and fleece blankets. Amanda was always keeping up and involved with her social media. She also loved butterflies, flamingo's and the smell of a burning candles. Her favorite prayer was the Serenity Prayer. On TV she enjoyed The Voice, Gray's Anatomy, Chicago Med and Code Black. She loved reading murder mysteries and listening to country music. Some of Amanda's mantras in life were "live for today, love for tomorrow, and laugh at all your yesterdays. Never regret the past, always hope for the future and cherish every moment you have." Amanda was a fighter; amazingly resilient, always cheerful, bubbly and wise. She was a loving mother with a very determined and creative mind. Amanda's visitation will be at the funeral home, Monday 1-3 & 6-8, 15 West Ave., Spencerport. Amanda's funeral service will be at the funeral home, Tuesday 10 AM. Her interment in Creekside Cemetery will be private.
