Ted and I worked together, not only at the big "K", but for the Village of Spencerport. We got to know each other very well. We served the public as public servants and did so together for a bit more than ten years. Ted had a vision of how to move things forward and if you looked into the details, you to could easily embrace that vision. Because of that vision ,I feel that the Village of Spencerport is in a better place today. I certainly will miss his dry humor, but also proud to have known him.

Ted was my first cousin once removed - my Mom was his mother's aunt. We spent wonderful times growing up together at their farm home on Gordon Road. Ice skating on the pond, riding horses, climbing on the tractor and around the bales of hay in the barn, racing around the house on wagons. Memories that will always be with a suburban kid for whom this was heaven. Our lives separated when college and marriage and work life took us separate places. My deepest sympathy to his wife Shery and their three daughters. A warm, caring and unselfish man has been taken away far too soon, but our memories of him will live forever.

While I was certainly saddened to learn of Ted's passing, I celebrate in the fact that I was able to know him and have fond memories of our interactions. Ted and I became friends through the Monroe County Association of Villages and the New York State Conference of Mayors. As Mayor in the Village of Honeoye Falls, I was always able to reach out to Ted and was honored to have worked with him during his time serving Spencerport as Mayor. His smile and wit will be missed.

My heart is very heavy now....Teddy and his sister Nancy, were such a wonderful part of my youth. We were neighbors on Gordon Road, and what wonderful memories we had....His heart was so gentle, warm and solid, he believe in all good in people ! He will be missed so much by his family, but also by the many friends he had.. A part of my childhood has just gone away, that's the tough part of growing older, we see way too many good people, like Ted, leave us way too early.. My prayers to all of you for strength
