Obituary of June S. Wallace

Wallace, June S. North Chili: June went home to be with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on December 12, 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and beloved by all. Her sweet voice and serving spirit was noted by all that met her. Throughout her life, she blessed others with her gift for sewing, cross-stitch, and other needlecraft. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert Wallace, who devoted his life to caring for her with all of his being. His love for her was unmatched, unconditional. He gave of himself for her greater good; he was her defender and protector. June in turn shared every aspect of her life with her husband (including being avid Braves fans together). She is also survived by her children Bruce Wallace and his wife Cindy (Bickford) Wallace, Barbara (Wallace) Coleman and her husband David Coleman. She was a loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Julie (Wallace) Stoyer, Robert Wallace, Kelly Wallace, Timothy Igoe, Michele (Igoe) Jones, Johanna (Igoe) Cannioto, and Sarah Coleman. She was a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren who loved to visit her and eat her brownies and pumpkin pie! She is now at rest in the arms of Jesus, and will be remembered by all that loved her. Visitation is on Friday, December 16, 2016, from 10am-11am followed by a memorial service at 11am, both at Pearce Memorial Church, 4322 Buffalo Rd, North Chili.
