I will miss seeing Joe walk by my desk everyday saying..."Hi Chris" Only 2 people in the entire building that would call me Chris instead of Christine or Vella. If he called me anything other than that it would have not sounded right. In fact, he only called me Christine once and I said in a puzzled voice..."What'd you call me?" and he chuckled and said.. "sorry Chris, I don't know what I was thinking"...lol Joe was the 1st person that I worked with on the floor when I came to the CIC 7 years ago. He helped teach me the ropes wiping on the line and I was absolutely awful at it...lol We had a few good laughs for those few hours that I helped out and I will never forget the disaster it was, but he put me at ease and of course laughed at me too in the process. I will miss seeing him walking out with his hairnet and his helmet on every day too even driving away in his car with it on as I was coming back from my normal late lunch and he was leaving for the day. Joe was a special guy and even more special as there's a few things I've learned about him since his passing. Hardly seems real... he will be missed...in fact he already is.
