I didn't know Alan, but the name Betteridge jumped out as I read the obituaries today. Mr. (Dick) Betteridge was one of my favorite teachers at Gates-Chili. This year we will celebrate out 55th class reunion (1963).
My heart goes out to the Betteridge family as you mourn the loss of a significant person in your family. Take comfort in wonderful memories, knowing that you had Alan's love and good humor for 66 years. Know, too, that this is simply a temporary parting.
