Peacefully on May 23, 2020 at age 101.  Florence was born in Bath, NY during the 1918 pandemic near the end of WW1.  She experienced and adapted to the countless changes in the last century. Grew up on a farm without utilities and then moved up to Rochester and married.

 

She was a loving mother and raised 4 successful boys in Spencerport and Ogden. She taught old fashioned values like love, civility, kindness, decency, honesty, and practicality.

 

She was a creative homemaker, decorator, baker and cook. Faithful to her church and charities. She was generous with help and sensitivity for others. Florence worked at Ontario Plastics as an assistant and bookkeeper.

 

She loved plants and flowers and grew African violets. She loved her newspaper even late in life, also Sewing, Reading, Crafts, Cooking, Baking and cake decorating.

Predeceased by her sister, Helen; brother, Albert; sons, Roger, and Leonard. Survived by sons, Terry (Kathleen), Dennis (Sandra); grandchildren, Heather, Shawn, Cassandra, Kimberly; great grandchildren, Adelyn, Elliot, Alexandra, Samantha, Corrine.  Services were held privately.
